The SMRT410 test system may be customized by adding the number of Voltage-Current, “VIGEN”, modules needed for specific test applications. The SMRT410 has the “smart” combination of high compliance voltage and high current to test all electromechanical, solid-state and microprocessor-based overcurrent relays, including voltage controlled, voltage restraint and high impedance directional ground overcurrent.

The SMRT410 provides a complete multi-phase test system for commissioning of protection systems. With up to 4 voltage channels a 6 high currents, the SMRT410 meets every testing need. The SMRT410 VIGEN modules also provide high power in BOTH the voltage and current channels to test virtually all types of protective relays.

The SMRT410 test system has the ability to be manually controlled with Megger’s new Smart Touch View Interface™ (STVI). The STVI, with its large, full color, high resolution, TFT LCD touch screen allows the user to perform manual, steady-state and dynamic testing quickly and easily using the manual test screen, as well as using built-in preset test routines for most popular relays.

The STVI eliminates the need for a computer when testing virtually all types of relays. Menu screens and touch screen function buttons are provided to quickly and easily select the desired test function. Tests results can be saved to the STVI for download to a memory stick to transfer or print test reports.

For full automatic testing the SMRT410 may be controlled by Megger Advanced Visual Test Software (AVTS). AVTS is a Microsoft Windows® XP®/Vista™/7 compatible software program designed to manage all aspects of protective relay testing using the new Megger SMRT.

Megger DLRO600 measures resistances between 0.1 µohms and 1 µohms, at high currents. 

This versatile instrument can provide test currents from 10 amps up to 600 amps subject to the load resistance and supply voltage. A large liquid crystal display provides all the information needed to perform a test; all test parameters and measurement results are displayed.

The unique design allows the weight and size of DLRO600 to be kept to a minimum; the instrument weighs less than 33 lbs (15kg). This small size makes DLRO600 equally at home in the workshop, on the production floor or in the field. The high current capability and compact design make DLRO600 suitable for testing circuit breaker contacts, switch contacts, busbar joints or other applications where high current is needed.

The WRM-40 is designed to accurately measure the winding resistance of highly inductive power transformers. The unit’s dual resistance-reading input channels can measure two winding resistances simultaneously, and four-wire (Kelvin) connections provide high accuracy and require no lead compensation.
The WRM-40 provides stable resistance readings of very large transformers by utilizing a 36Vdc power supply capable of outputting up to 40 Amperes. The resistance reading of a 500MVA transformer can be achieved in 5 minutes or less. The unit’s power supply is cooled by four heavy-duty fans designed for continuous operation. For greater fl exibility in the fi eld, the WRM-40 comes with a built-in 2.5-inch wide thermal printer used for printing test reports.

The portable, one-piece PGK 80 high-voltage test device for generating negative DC voltage up to 80 kV is primarily used for onsite testing of paper-insulated mass-impregnated cables in the medium-voltage network. The high voltage is generated through a high-voltage transformer with secondary voltage-multiplier. The internal operating frequency of 20 kHz enables the smallest of device dimensions.
