Winding Resistance Ohmmeter Vanguard WRM-40 has successfully repaired by PT. Dynamics Circuit Indonesia

The WRM-40 is designed to accurately measure the winding resistance of highly inductive power transformers. The unit’s dual resistance-reading input channels can measure two winding resistances simultaneously, and four-wire (Kelvin) connections provide high accuracy and require no lead compensation.

The WRM-40 provides stable resistance readings of very large transformers by utilizing a 36Vdc power supply capable of outputting up to 40 Amperes. The resistance reading of a 500MVA transformer can be achieved in 5 minutes or less. The unit’s power supply is cooled by four heavy-duty fans designed for continuous operation. For greater fl exibility in the fi eld, the WRM-40 comes with a built-in 2.5-inch wide thermal printer used for printing test reports.

The Digital/Analog Megohmmeter Model 5060 is the latest design in 5000V insulation testers. Features include automatic calculation and presentation of the Dielectric Absorption Ratio (DAR), Polarization Index (PI) and Dielectric Discharge (DD). The Model 5060 displays the test voltage, insulation resistance and the leakage current during the test. Capacitance of the sample and discharge voltage present at the test leads is displayed at the conclusion of the test. This meter is designed with the highest level of built in safety features. The Model 5060 can be operated from an internal rechargeable battery system or from an AC line power. The Model 5060 offers additional functionality in that an RS-232 port provides the ability to configure the unit from a PC and run the test from the PC. Test reports can be generated directly from the instruments to a printer or through the PC using the DataView® graphing and analysis software.

The ART-3D series are precision instruments, designed to measure turn ratios, phase displacements, excitation currents of single phase and three phase power, distribution and instrument transformers in conformity to the IEEE C57.12.90 & IEC 60076.

The instrument’s rugged design is perfectly suited to tackle the most challenging field or manufacturing environments. The anti-induction mode strongly enhances the efficiency of the measurements by countering the unwanted effect of nearby induction interference. The large, high contrast, color, touch screen display offers easy menu navigation, creation of test plans and viewing of test files. The integrated LTC control terminal allows for manual or fully automatic testing sequence of On-Load Tap changers with configurable pulse duration and duty cycle. The additional tertiary winding channel of the ART-3Dx will save a great deal of time, with onetime test connections to primary, secondary and tertiary windings. One of the ART-3D’s key features is the colored and graphical way of displaying LTC test results for interpretation in seconds!

With its real 3-phase test circuit, the ART-3D can address complex ratio measurements of PhaseShifting/Regulating or irregular vector group type transformers, otherwise impossible to achieve with conventional ratio meters. Zigzag type transformers testing is very easy and will not require the installation of jumpers or the use of relay matrix circuits. The single or real 3 phase voltage output up to 275V contributes to higher magnetization currents and therefore stronger flux for better signal reflection on secondary and/or tertiary windings allowing more accurate results. The ART-3D phase displacement measurements enables for simple detection of the transformer vector group.

The OTS60AF/2, OTS80AF/2 and OTS100AF/2 are used for determining the dielectric strength of liquid insulants, such as the insulating oils used in transformers, switchgear and other electrical apparatus.

The test sets are fully automatic. The operator has simply to prepare the test vessel, load it with sample oil, place it in the test chamber, select the appropriate specification for the tests and then start the test sequence. The test set carries out automatically (and if necessary unattended) the sequence of tests as defined by the pre-selected national specification.

10 kV insulation resistance testers from Megger are designed specifically to assist you with the testing and maintenance of high voltage electrical equipment. IEEE 43-2000 recommends the use of 10 kV for motor windings rated above 12 kV and the Megger S1-1052/2 facilitates this.

The instruments have a large easy to read backlit LCD display making it equally suitable for use in both bright sunlight and poorly lit environments.
